Kindergarten 'Portable' Garden

Over the last few weeks students have been paying special attention to the plants in their little garden. Each day we have been watching for changes in the bean, corn, lettuce and marigold plants.

We have been trying to give them lots of sunshine by pulling the wagons outside in the morning and returning them to the classroom in the afternoon.

Students have been eager to be the 'gardener' and use the small watering can to add water to the plants.

Tomorrow will be the visit by members of the Canadian Olympic team.The time of their visit will be from around 11:30 to 12:30. Students who return home or go to Daycare for lunch may remain at school. Please let us know if your child is staying at school for the presentation.
