Great Works of Abstract Art

During the last few weeks we have been discussing how some of our art shows pictures of people, animals, trees, places and other things that we know. But some art is a blend of lines, shapes and colours that are interesting to look at -
that's our abstract art

We made two types of abstract art which we will be putting up on our bulletin board.

Here's how we made them.
We found small, medium and large
circles on different plastic containers.

This is a photo of Azaria dipping the containers into the black paint and pressing different prints on the paper.

In the second work of abstract work, students glued strips of black paper to create vertical and horizontal lines. Then they added blue, yellow and red paint. Some of the blocks we did not add paint but left white.
