 Virtue  -   Honesty

We have a new virtue this month! Being honest is being open, trustworthy and truthful. When people are honest they can be relied on not to lie, cheat or steal. Honesty is telling the truth. It is admitting mistakes even when you know someone might be angry or disappointed. Being honest means that you don't pretend to be something you are not.  Honesty is important because it builds trust.

This week, we reread 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' and discussed how the boy had not told the truth and soon no one believed him when he really needed help.

Throughout the day, we recognize students who show ways of being honest.

Thank you to all those students who have returned the forms and money for inline skating. Skating begins next week and students who have not returned the signed form and money will not be able to participate.
Students are also welcome to bring their helmets and leave them at school until skating is complete
